Today in room 2 Miss Graham focused on sketching still images such as fruit. Great to see focused learners. Some serious concentration here!

Room 2 created class books for Room 5 and 6 to help students cope with returning to school this week.

 The purpose for creating class books was to present a book about what makes our heart happy for our audience, our junior classes. Students then drafted and then completed two books for Rooms 5 and 6. The class books were inspired by a book called 'My Heart Fills with Happiness' By Monique Gray Smith.

The opportunities of learning through a marble challenge and Go Noodle Exercise has helped room 2 student's health and wellbeing, and coping with returning to school this week.

For Friday's online learning room 2 carefully followed instructions to make a tetrahedron for Maths. There were a range of skills and mathematical concepts and language used throughout this activity. Here are two examples from room 2. Carolyn and Joseph.

This is a Tetrahedron aka triangular pyramid. In room 2 we have combined the subjects Maths, and R.E. For the math we used rulers to measure cm and we also measured angles. For R.E. we put on the sides the gifts that we receive at baptism, Hope, Love and Faith. Carolyn

Wow, it has been a while since we posted our learning since Covid-19 Lockdown. Well, hope you enjoy Rhianne's video she created about an Anzac poem we discussed today during online distance learning. The poem she chose is 'In Flanders Field' by John McCrae.

It was great to have Duffy Theatre join our school this morning to kick off week 3! I wonder if any of our students would want a 'Coggin' as a pet? Today was also a great opportunity for our school to learn some wonderful new songs with the amazing Michael Mangan!
