A great way for our Y6-8 students to end week 4 with Kiwi Sport this afternoon. Catching and passing skills mixed with fitness, maths and competition.

Every Day Theatre has been amazing today! This was a programme full of engagement and highly interactive. It was great to see all our senior students being so enthusiastic by participating and contributing some super questions! We are so proud of how our students showed compassion, empathy and resilience!

A small group of students decided to plan a creative way using origami to raise funds for our Caritas for Sudan and also towards a special koha. The group planned their ideas as part of their Reading about 'A Sweet Business' and creating a basic business plan to raise funds.

Some key memories to end week 3. Kiwi Sport, some lovely cake from Reupena's parents to celebrate his 11th birhday, and learning and playing a new song on the ukulele.

Learning a new language can be challenging for anyone. This afternoon's matching card game was a good way to remember names of family members in Mandarin.

This Anzac poem was written by one of our students in our class in remembrance of the soldiers who fought in the war.

Great to see room 4 discussing and trying strategies to 'Cross the River' during Kelly Sports this afternoon. Some real problem solvers in room 4. Nice to see the resilience to keep trying to get your whole team across the river. 'Leave no one behind'

Congratulations to Tausala for receiving the Caught Being Good Mum prize for Mother's Day this Sunday. She wrote some lovely thoughts about why her mum deserved this prize. Happy Mother's Day to all our CTK mothers!!
