A lovely leavers mass this morning. A beautiful liturgical dance by our school leavers for 2019. Thank you Virginia for your hard work working with our senior students.

What a day out for our CTK athletes in the very warm weather. They all competed to the best of their abilities. Congratulations to Tausala for coming 3rd in her age group sprint final! Our children came up against very tough competition today. Above all, they smiled and never gave up!

So proud of our boys who planned and organised an afternoon of games for our junior classes. Well done Ryan, Patrick, Daniel, Naia, Matthias, Sione, Esrom and Jireh. They set up the hall, explained the rules and supported our younger students in each rotation. Rooms 5, 6 & 2 thouroughly enjoyed the games! Great leadership skills boys!!

Nice way to end term 3 with our room 4 boys receiving learning certificates, the boys who were involved with the recent CTK Movies, and our Role Model of term: Damian. Well done boys! Enjoy your holiday with your families!

It was such a privilege to have our Duffy Role Model Toby Morris, an award winning comic artist, visit CTK this morning. It was great to see some of the books and commercial packages he has illustrated. Our students collectively came up with creative ideas for Toby to draw an alien creature. Amazing!!! Thank you also to our two representatives from our Mainfreight sponsors.

The last Taekwon Do session for the term. Breaking boards was the one of hardest challenges. Room 4 really impressed Mr Ireland, our black belt instructor. He said they have shown great spirit and participation. Thank you Mr Ireland!

Room 4 really showed their competitiveness during Taekwon do this week. It was a really good session!

Our Year 6-8 students were introduced to words and phrases influenced by the great play writer William Shakespeare. We had the pleasure of having Pop Up Globe actors and director visit our school today. Some students want to found out more about William Shakespeare's work.

For Reading Ryan created a Prezi presentation as his Digital Learning Object (DLO) about Glaciers to demonstrate his new learning.
